Kids are most welcome at The One Dental Practice Our aim is to give your child a gentle introduction to dentistry and help them to develop the good habits necessary to keep their teeth healthy for a life time. Our experienced staff are relaxed and friendly with the children throughout their visit.
We advise that the first appointment is aimed at getting your child used to the sounds and sights of the practice so they gain in confidence at future visits. In our reception room we have a specially designated "kids zone" for our "small" patients. To make their visit as enjoyable as possible we provide different kinds of toys, books and art materials/colouring books. In treatment rooms we have many distractions for younger children including characters on walls and an intraoral camera.
Our new, modern, spacious practice provides comfortable space in the reception room for buggies, pushchairs and wheelchairs. We have also provided easy access to the building itself for toddlers and disabled people.

- The American Dental Association is more specific and advises no longer than their first birthday,
- All children are entitled to free dental treatments under the NHS, so it is important that children get used to visiting a dentist as soon as possible.
